Terms of service
Last updated: September 2026
1. What WASCL is
WASCL Storybooks publishes and sells illustrated children's storybooks. When you buy a story, you get personal, non-transferable permission to read it in your own WASCL library on any device you're signed into. This is a license, not a transfer of ownership of the story.
2. Your account
You're responsible for keeping your password secure and for everything done through your account. You must be at least 13 years old (or have a parent or guardian responsible for your account) to use WASCL.
3. Payments
Prices are shown and charged in Ugandan shillings (UGX). Payment processing is handled by NylonPay, our provider, and WASCL never stores your card details. When payment succeeds you'll usually see your new story in your library right away; if a payment goes missing or fails to arrive, use the check-payment button next to the story to sync it.
4. Content
Stories remain the property of their makers. You may read them on WASCL but may not copy, resell, or share them outside your own library.
5. Deactivation and termination
You can deactivate your own account from your privacy settings at any time, which signs you out everywhere and stops you from logging back in. We may suspend or terminate accounts that break these terms, and we may update these terms; material changes will be noted here.
6. Acknowledgements
Stories are provided as-is. We work to keep WASCL reliable, but we don't promise the service will be uninterrupted or error-free, and to the extent allowed by law our liability is limited.
